Catalyst IT is the 2025 Community Contributor of the Year
We are very excited to have received two very special recognitions at the 2025 Moodle Certified Partner Awards last week at MoodleMoot Global 2025 in Edinburgh, UK: Community Contributor of the Year for our global team (Catalyst IT New Zealand, Australia, UK and Canada) and Moodle Premium Partner of the Year for the APAC region for Catalyst IT Australia.
The Community Contributor of the Year award honours the partner whose initiatives, such as plugins, translations, and open-source contributions, enrich the global Moodle community. The Quiz and Question Bank initiative saw contributions from 23 institutions, community leaders and developers. Together, we have delivered one of the most impactful community-led developments in Moodle’s history.
A fruitful collaboration
Catalyst IT is one of the first external contributors to the Moodle Project, dating back to its original versions. In addition to providing a premium network of support for our clients across the globe, our team over the years has regularly contributed time, resources and expertise to the Moodle community.
We provide a full suite of Moodle services: from front-end consulting and custom feature development to cloud-hosted managed services – migration and deployment in AWS cloud infrastructure. As a Moodle Premium Certified Partner, we support major universities and organisations, such as York University, the McGill University Health Centre, and Concordia University.
